Hoji is a US and EU based Angolan-Portuguese multilingual actor who performs internationally in film, TV and theatre. He is an Africa Movie Academy Awards winner for his performance as César in internationally acclaimed crime-drama ‘Viva Riva!’ and has performed in TV series on ABC, BBC, AMC Networks, Netflix and Amazon.

His first directing project, the short film A Lisbon Affair, was nominated for the Portuguese Film Academy Awards and the Africa Movie Academy Awards, and toured various acclaimed international film festivals such as Raindance, PAFF, NYAFF and Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival.

Hoji also lends his voice to animated films having performed in at least two award-winning films.

Two lovers meet to sort the conflict emerging from their love affair.

A love story that tackles race, colonization and Afro-Portuguese identity. Written and directed by award-winning actor Hoji Fortuna.
